What was the idea and how it started
Client Monitor was developed to provide a unified experience across both web and native applications, ensuring that users can easily view and manage their clients' statuses, no matter which platform they use. By maintaining a consistent look and feel across platforms, we ensured that the user experience remained seamless, allowing for efficient client monitoring without the need for multiple interfaces.
The notification system was designed separately to streamline communication between admins, devices, and customers. These notifications enable real-time updates, delivering important information, news, and alerts directly to devices and customers, ensuring that critical details are never missed. This approach enhances the overall efficiency of device management and client communication.
The outcome
During the initial research and customer interviews, we discovered that both the hybrid platform consistency and the notifications system were equally important to users. This insight guided the redesign process, ensuring that we addressed both areas with equal focus. The hybrid approach made it easier for users to manage their clients seamlessly across web and native platforms, while the separate notifications system provided critical real-time updates for both devices and customers.
After the redesign, we conducted thorough user testing, and the results were overwhelmingly positive. Users appreciated the consistent experience across platforms and the improved communication through timely notifications, which enhanced both device management and client interaction. This outcome validated our approach and confirmed that we met the key needs identified during our research.
